Developing Good Public Policy & Impacting The Policy Process
We have extensive experience in data analysis, surveys, and focus group research that is specifically geared toward unions. This includes research about the rules that affect the rights of workers to organize and bargain. Examples include analyzing salary data to make the case for binding arbitration or determining what members want in expanding the scope of bargaining. Policy research could also about policies to regulate the certification process, professional development, retirement, worker safety, working condition, and other ways to improve the professions of the workers the union represents.
