Dial testing is a unique method of allowing insight into the immediate reactions of audiences to commercials, marketing materials, debates and speeches. By manipulating stimuli across different groups, we can measure the impact of different language and imagery. Alternatively, we can start with large audiences (in an auditorium setting) and break them out into smaller traditional groups on the basis of their dial test results. Furthermore, dial tests provide the client with immediate and visual feedback on customer or constituent opinions. The recommendations from our dial tests allow our clients to massage their message, their ads, and their materials before launch (or before conducting follow-up research).
